The Rappenloch and Alploch gorges were carved into the hard limestone by the flowing waters of the Dornbirn Ach river over hundreds of thousands of years and are now among the largest gorges in Central Europe.
Austria Guide Lukas Rinnhofer leads visitors through the impressive scenery every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. from mid-July to mid-September and gives an insight into the formation of the gorge as well as its life today. There is an information sign at the entrance to the Rappenloch Gorge. Online tickets can be booked directly on site using the QR code shown. The meeting point is at the sequoia tree in Gütle.
