Important Notice: Temporary Closure of the Karren Cable Car and Panorama Restaurant
From January 1 to the end of March 2025, the Karren Cable Car and Panorama Restaurant will be closed due to extensive modernization work. These measures are designed to ensure the long-term operation of the facilities and to enhance guest comfort.
Planned Modernization Measures
- Upgrade of the Base Station:
The base station will be brought up to date both functionally and technically to make the experience more enjoyable for visitors. - Optimization of Cable Car Technology:
The cable car’s control system will be renewed to ensure the highest safety standards and make operations future-proof.
By combining the regularly scheduled semi-annual maintenance with the modernization work, a second closure will be avoided. This approach will allow operations to resume seamlessly once the work is completed. The next scheduled maintenance is planned for autumn 2025.
