Dornbirn is blooming again – with a fresh look and even more sustainable!
It's that time again: the popular “Dornbirn Flower Meadow” is back – more colorful, more eco-friendly, and as full of life as ever! This year, our city gardener Andreas Dür has once again created a very special blend of blooms that will delight not only our gardens but also the hearts of bees. The Dornbirn flower mix is now available for purchase at Dornbirn Tourism.
The vibrant mix includes cornflowers, cosmos, zinnias, flax, baby’s breath, asters, calendula, daisies, nigella, poppies, scabiosa, and bellflowers – a diverse array that creates a true sea of blossoms from May to October, offering valuable habitat for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. Every terrace, flowerpot, and garden can become a small natural paradise.
New this year: The seeds are no longer packaged in plastic, but in lovingly designed, eco-friendly paper sachets with a fresh design – a step towards greater sustainability.
The “Dornbirn Flower Meadow” is now available again at the Dornbirn Tourism Office for €5. Act fast – demand is high every year!
